Join our in-house Managed Payroll Services team in a pivotal role to deliver secure, accurate and compliant payroll outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

As an integral member of the Managed Payroll Services team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Process payroll requests from multiple customer organisations using our Aurion software, while being accurate and adhering to timelines
  • Maintaining and updating employee payroll records
  • Actioning customer requests within agreed service level timeframes, while providing excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and accuracy in superannuation, PAYG and other deductions
  • Calculate and prepare termination pays with precision, ready for thorough checking and prompt payment
  • Accurately calculate leave liabilities and accruals based on client requirements
  • Produce Trial Pay runs, subject to rigorous quality assurance checks and client approval
  • Process, load and reconcile superannuation on specified frequencies (eg. Fortnightly, monthly or quarterly) via Click Super, ComSuper, and QSuper.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on work undertaken by the team
  • Work with our process improvement and training team to update procedures to reflect best practice

Skills and experience

We are looking for a highly motivated team member who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. It would be advantageous if you have previously used the Aurion software as a part of a payroll team, and can demonstrate experience in complex payroll calculations.

Knowledge of the payroll and legislation complexities within multiple corporate sectors is highly desirable, along with the following qualities:

  • Proven ability in dealing with a dynamic, high volume, transactional payroll environment
  • Experience and understanding of the Aurion software is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key payroll principles and processes
  • Excellent customer service skills to resolve sensitive and competing payroll enquiries while delivering high quality outcomes in a large scale volume of service
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret conditions of employment that applies to an employee, to maintain accurate pay runs
  • Meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy in data entry
  • You are a collaborative team member, and are able to contribute to an open and honest environment where ideas and views are discussed freely
